Новый BlackBerry QWERTY 5G выйдет в 2021 году

Генеральный директор OnwardMobility Питер Франклин объявил о заключении соглашений с BlackBerry и FIH Mobile Limited, дочерней компанией Foxconn Technology Group, о поставке нового смартфона 5G BlackBerry Android с физической клавиатурой в первой половине 2021 года в Северной Америке и Европе. OnwardMobility, BlackBerry и FIH Mobile обеспечат проектирование и производство смартфонов мирового класса. По условиям соглашения BlackBerry предоставляет OnwardMobility право на разработку, проектирование и выпуск на рынок мобильного устройства BlackBerry 5G.

OnwardMobility будет осуществлять планирование выпуска продукта и проработку рынка сбыта для смартфонов BlackBerry в Северной Америке, а FIH Mobile будет разрабатывать и производить устройства BlackBerry в соответствии со строгими правилами для обеспечения целостности компонентов, устройств и цепочки поставок.

В связи с увеличением числа сотрудников, работающих удаленно с критически важными данными и приложениями, а также постоянной угрозой кибератак, существует абсолютная потребность в безопасном многофункциональном смартфоне с поддержкой 5G, который повышает производительность. Сотрудникам требуются лучшие технологии на рабочем месте, и организации сталкиваются со все более сложными проблемами при выборе, развертывании, обеспечении безопасности и управлении устройствами, чтобы оправдать ожидания и максимизировать производительность сотрудников.
